    🌄 Join Us for an Exciting Hiking Adventure! 🌄  Hey everyone! 🌟  We're thrilled to announce our upcoming hiking event and would love for you to join us!     A lovely 6 mile flat loop in the Nottinghamshire countryside around the River Trent taking in riverside paths,footpaths and quiet countryside lanes. Suitable for all abilities and if you've not been with us before then this is a great introduction to walking with us and finding out more about our welcoming ethos. Due to the nature of the terrain and proximity to the river and local tributaries the walk can be muddy in places after a wet spell. A great circular route that visits villages around Somersby,birthplace of Alfred Lord Tennyson,famous Poet Laureate oif the 19th Century. Staring and finishing in Hope we will ascend to Lose Hill and traverse the Great Ridge before dropping off Mam Tor and crossing over to Rushup Edge and making our way to Brown Knoll before picking up the southern edge of the Kinder Plateau before a short descent and final ascent on to Win Hill before descending back to Hope and well earned refreshments and a great sense of achievment.
