Skiddaw – The Quieter Way

Hey everyone! 🌟 

We’re thrilled to announce our upcoming hiking event and would love for you to join us! Whether you’re an experienced hiker or just looking for a fun outdoor activity. 

Skiddaw the quiet way – Every wanted to scale Skiddaw,the most northerly 3000ft mountain in the Lake District,we’ll be doing it from the northern side of the fell instead of the regular tourist route from the south. Let us take you on this great route in the heart of the fells.

Following the Cumbria Way from Peter House Farm all the way to Skiddaw House via Dash Falls gives a steady height gain and a great place for a break before a steeper ascent over Sale How to meet the main path from the south to Skiddaw summit. We’ll then head north down the fell taking in Bakestall summit before descending to meet the Cumbrian Way and heading back to the start.
