DESCRIPTION:⭐We are proud to announce that we are supporting Kathryn Mays on her final hike of the 14 hike challenge\, embarking on a 50km hike around the beautiful landscapes of Newark-on-Trent to support two incredible charities: Newark Womens Aid and Newark Food Bank.⭐ \n🥾About the Hike:🥾 \nThe route will encompass some of the most scenic paths in the Newark and Sherwood area\, including parts of the Trent Valley Way\, starting and finishing at the iconic Newark Town Hall steps\, 7am on the 8th March \n🫶🏼The Causes🫶🏼 \n🩷Newark Women’s Aid🩷 For half a century\, Newark Women’s Aid have been a lifeline for women and families\, providing essential support\, safety\, and advocacy to those facing domestic abuse. \n💚Newark Food Bank💚 Newark Food bank have been providing 3-days’ worth of nutritionally balanced foodstuffs\, basic household & baby needs to help single people\, couples\, families who find themselves short of money and in a crisis for almost 15 years\, a valuable part of our community. \n👨‍👩‍👧‍👦How You Can Help👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 \nYour support can make a real difference. Here’s how you can get involved: \n1. **Hike the 50k:**Join us on the 8th March and be part of a one off challenge. (You must have competed a 25mile hike previously to ensure you can make the distance comfortably.) We have a support crew on hand so they will be with you every step of the way. \n2. **Hike the 5k**Join us on the 8th March at 5.00pm at Sconce Park and be a part of this challenge and help get the 50k hikers to the finish line. \n3. **Donate:** This hike really is about supporting the 2 charities\, please donate if you are taking part in either hike\nhttps://www.justgiving.com/team/kathryn-mays-14-hike-challenge\nEvery contribution\, no matter the size\, brings us closer to our goal. \n4. **Share:** Help spread the word by sharing this post with your friends\, family\, and social networks. DESCRIPTION:Description\nJoin us as we walk the Trent Valley Way between Nottingham and Newark\nA great challenge walk of around 25 miles following the River Trent from Trent Bridge in Nottingham to Trent Bridge in Newark.\nA real mix of footpaths\, fields\, quiet country lanes and riverside paths.\nGenerally a flat walk with no real difficulties other than the usual mud after rain.\nSuitable for anyone who wants to push their distance or just wants to spend the day with our sociable group.\nStart point will be next to Trent Bridge\, Nottingham by Nottingham Forest football ground.\nOn arrival back in Newark we shall have celebratory food and drink at a local establishment to be confirmed for those that wish to join us
